- Today’s Brauhaus Johann Schäfer is located in the company’s former headquarters at Elsaßstraße 6 in Cologne’s Südstadt district. For decades, the building served as a warehouse, workshop and office for the forwarding company.
- In 2016, the hall was remodeled to preserve the historic atmosphere while creating a modern brewery.
- In 2017, Brauhaus Johann Schäfer opened its doors and has been combining traditional brewing with regional cuisine ever since.
